"Healing without drugs"
Sunday June 25, 2006
I've been talking about healing for the body and how important it is for a balance of all the nutrients to be a healthy person. Well, there's another even more important healing that must take place deep within the soul between the person and Our Holy God. I was a superficial christian for many years before I learned just how important it is to have a healthy relationship with God. I didn't come to that realization without having to go thru some heartache and making some wrong and foolish choices.
But I'm glad I finally made the right choice to put God first in my life. That decision didn't come without some conflict but I found a deeper peace than I had ever known. However.....the enemy doesn't give up. So, I'm still in a battle as every christian is that takes a stand for the right. I'm so glad I know who is fighting my battle. Well, I guess I sort of got side tracked. I was talking about being spiritually healthy and having peace and now I'm talking about being in a battle. How can you be spiritually healthy, have peace and be in a battle ,all at the same time, or can you?

I believe God heals in many ways. He can still create miracles and heal a person instantly. It doesn't always happen that way. Sometimes it's a slow process over a period of time. Faith is the key but sin in a persons life can hinder because sin gives satan room to interfere. Oh, you think a person who is a christian can't sin? I 'm not saying it should happen. Jesus had to withdraw from the crowds and get alone with His Father, sometimes praying all night to stay strong enough to overcome the tempter and if He, Jesus, the Son of God, the Perfect sacrfice, had to do that, how much more should we have to draw strength from God, living in this world today. The Bible says if we do sin we have an advocate, Jesus Christ, that He intercedes for us and when we ask forgiveness it is done. So be it! Amen! Now lets get back to the subject of healing. If a person wants to be prayed for healing they should "come clean" with God and then ask for healing. Sometime we don't even realize we have sin in our life until we ask God to search our hearts and reveal it to us so we can repent. Most of us abuse our health by not taking care of this body God gave us. Could that be sin? Sometime we can be healed by simply throwing away all the junk food and start eating the natural food God put here for us. The sad part of the so-called natural food now has been grown in soil lacking in the nutients we need for good nourishment so that's where vitamins, seeds, nuts, etc. come in. There is so much pollution in the air we need more vitamins to overcome the toxic air and stress. I rest my case. We need more of Jesus, so we can have the wisdom to take care of our bodies, pray for protection and strength to live a healthy life ,as much as is possible and pleasing to God.

I have been interested in vitamins and nutrition for 35 yrs and wanted to be a nutritionist but never had the means to get a diploma. I have read many books on this subject and used myself for testing with different vitamins and what I read to see what really helped me to have more energy and gave me protection from colds and other viruses. After I found some answers for myself I started telling my children and friends what vitamins and nutrients might help their ailments and they have learned that they really do help in a lot of different ways for a lot of different ailments. Some sickness and disease can be avoided by building up the immune system. Not only can it be avoided but just feeling better and having more energy will be an added benefit. It's sad that more Doctors don't know enough about this and some pharmaceutical Companies don't want them to know. Anyone else interested in this subject?
